Sephora Haul!!!

I’ve been really good about buying makeup lately. i’m trying to use up some of my stuff because ((good lord)) I have a lot. Anyway, I kinda cracked. It not my fault!!!! ((ok maybe it is)). I kinda went a little crazy about a month ago when Sephora was having the 15% off your entire order. In my defense, it was my first Sephora purchase since 2012. There were a lot of new products that I wanted to try and new ideas I wanted to give a shot.

So starting from the top I got Tarte’s Lights, Camera, Lashes mini. I’ve heard nothing but great things about this mascara so I figured for $10, why not? Then I wanted to try Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tars   in Black Metal Dahlia  and  Clear.  Each were priced at $18 a piece. I also got a Lip Tar Trio Set, which includes the shades Pris, Yaoi, and Role Play. The set also includes what looks like a full sized precision lip brush. The trios are priced at $39.50 (with the brush-it’s a $72 value). Then I got the  URBAN DECAY Triple Threat Travel Pencil Set Smoky Matte Edition. I’ve wanted to try Perversion since it came out, I just never got around to picking it up. I saw this set and thought it was a steal for $19 and getting 3 really great eyeliners.

One day, I found one of those magazine fragrance samples for the Ralph Lauren Midnight Romance perfume. I was on a mission to get it. With its $52 for 1 fl.oz price tag, I took good use of the 15% discount to get it.

Since summer is coming (or already here in Florida), I wanted to try a new bronzer. I decided to get TOO FACED Milk Chocolate Soleil Light/Medium Matte Bronzer ($30). I thought it would be a great bronzer to start with since I’m a beginner.

When I saw that the URBAN DECAY Electric Pressed Pigment Palette ($49) was still in stock during the sale, I had to snatch it up. This is probably the item I’m most excited about. I have so many great ideas for this palette. Expect some fun tutorials using that palette.

Going along with the bronzer, I decided to try and hang on highlighting as well. I’ve never been a fan of highlighting because the ones I’ve found have been too pink for me. When I saw  NARS Blush in  Albatross, I thought it was perfect. I also think it will be multi-functional as an eyeshadow as well, so it worth the $30 price tag.

Since the warmer weather is coming, my skin is getting oily. I was on the hunt for a oil-absorbing compact powder. I stumbled upon URBAN DECAY De-Slick Mattifying Powder  for $32.

I was in the market for a new face primer and I’ve heard get things about the Too Faced Primed and Poreless Face Primer. So I grabbed TOO FACED Beauty Blogger Darlings, which included a sample of Primed and Poreless face primer, a sample of Better than Sex mascara, a sample of the Chocolate Soleil Bronzer, and also a sample of Shadow Insurance eyeshadow primer. All for $20.

So that’s all of it. I’m really excited about all my new products. My mind has been racing with new ideas for different types of posts, so be on the look out for those.

Question of the Day: What’s your favorite bronzer/highlight combo?
